THE FOLLOWING elections have taken place at the Midlands region of the Freight Transport Association: Vice chairmen are Roy Aspinal and Stuart Davies, distribution services manager for Allied Breweries of Burton on Trent and transport manager for Lotus of Stafford respectively.
National council representatives are Jim Gaunt and Charles Lynam. Mr Lynam is group transport manager for Servis bury.
The Notts/Derby division of the FTA is chaired by Eric Martin, distribution manager for RHM Foods of Nottingham. Senior vice chairman is Joe Shaw, transport manager of Grants of St James, Derby.
Vice chairmen are Graham Marson and Alan Pye. Mr Marson is distribution manager for Boots, Nottingham, and Mr Pye is transport manager for F. W. Warnsworth of Nottingham.
National council representative is Frank Moore, divisional transport manager for Courtaulds Acetate of Derby.
