• Postmen will shortly be delivering and collecting mail in three-wheeled vans for the first time in the history of the Post Office. Trials are to take place all over the country of a fleet of 50 glassfibre-bodied Reliant Supervans. Seven of the 10 postal regions are to take part in this full-scale evaluation of the 5cwt Reliant van. Deliveries of the model involved, the 700 cc Supervan are due to begin in mid-November.
