ICAFACO CURES WATER IN FUEL • That old chestnut of a problem, water-contaminated diesel, can be solved, says Kamco of Colney Heath in Hertfordshire, by using its latest additive, Aquasolye MD.
Developed by City University, London, it is simply added to the fuel tank at a rate of one litre per 1,000 litres of diesel and is agitated normally when refuelling.
The additive will take between 1-2% of water into solution, say Kemco and, far from having negative effects on combustion, it will improve it, simultaneously reducing eriunisions and corrosion inside fuel injection equipment.
Aquasolye MD is available in one-litre dispensors at 24 each, (slightly less when purchased in bulk). is once again holding its annual Classic Vehicle Parade on Sunday 21 August at Harewood Speed Climb, between Leeds and Harrogate.
