The plastic Bog-cog bolts to specially-adapted wheel nuts to increase the flotation and traction of a vehicle, to suit particularly muddy or soft conditions. As they run slightly clear of the ground, there is no need to remove them when traversing firmer ground.
The company hopes to sell the Bog-cog to the armed forces and third world countries, and is also developing two other mobility devices, the Sand-cog and the Snow-cog.
