• London Carriers has fitted VBG remote control coupling systems to six of its drawbars.
The system allows the air and electric lines between the truck and the trailer to be connected without the driver having to clamber beneath the combination.
It can be varied in length, is tangle free and gives the driver control of the air and electric connections from the side of the truck, says VBG.
