• Greenpeace was banned last week by Sealink from travelling from Dover after it attempted to send a lorry load of Sellafield sand to Germany.
Sealink says Greenpeace missed its booked crossing at 09.15hrs on Wednesday, 24 June. It also says Greenpeace caused "mayhem" the last time it visited Dover, when it attempted to prevent a ferry from unloading nuclear waste. Greenpeace says Sealink is "hypocritical" in preventing it from transporting Sellafield soil back to Germany from where it alleges Sealink transports spent nuclear fuel.
