• Willans Transport at Newton Aycliffe, Co Durham is adapting its 24-hour auto-vend diesel service to accept fuel cards from Philips Route-Mate, UK Fuels and PCS.
The site also offers workshop facilities, power washing, return loads, a fax service, trailer exchange and load exchanging/ rearranging. By next January it is planned to include a truckstop, with secure parking, food and accommodation.

• Corporate fuel card specialist Dialcard has launched a discount diesel scheme. Dialcard Bunkerfuel cardholders can use a network of 80 sites on major routes for cut-price diesel; typically 1.3p-2.2p/lit below retail.
