Quality weekend
• A conference on Quality Transport and Distribution Management will be held by the Chartered Institute of Transport in Nottingham on 25-27 September.
Speakers will include Stuart Roberts, logistics manager at Rowntree Mackintosh; Allan Clark, distribution contracts and central services manager at The Whitbread Beer Company; and Graham Campling, group training consultant at BAA.
Attendance will cost £160, including full board and all conference papers.

Restored rally
• Buntingford District Mechanical Restoration Society is holding a rally at St Edmund's College Park, Puckeridge, Herts (on the A10) on 18-19 July. Owners of classic trucks are invited to come along to the event, which raises money for local and national charities.

Vans on show
• The Zero-3.5 tonne Refrigerated Van Show is an exhibition for companies affected by the latest UK and EC Food Hygiene Transport Regulations. It will be held at the Wembley Exhibition Centre on 20-22 September 1992.
Exhibitors will include chassis manufacturers, reefer equipment manufacturers and suppliers, bodywork component makers and suppliers, rental and contract hire companies and van dealers. Advice will be available.
