a Scania 112M three-axle tractive unit . from the W R Atkinson yard in Gillmans Industrial Estate, Billingshurst, West Sussex. They cut through security locks at the yard sometime after 20:00hrs on 12 June, got past security lighting and detached the tractor from a fully loaded trailer before driving it away.
The unit, which seems to have been specifically targeted, has a green and white cab with the company name and telephone number on the sides and front.
Its registration number is E381 ELK, with chassis number 1123125 and engine number 5290183.
