Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Exhibit:-44 Lolls" Cab; and Light Vans, of 10-12h.p. aud 18h.p.

An exhibit at Olympia that will attract more than ordinary attention is the production of the Loris Works, Coventry. This company has been concentrating attention upon the production of a light delivery van to carry dead loads on solid tires, and which should not be in any sense the mere adaptation of a pleasure-car chassis. The design bristles with points of interest, as will be readily conceded upon examination of the chassis ex

hibited. The short and compact wheel base, with large turning lock, enables a Lotis vehicle to be worked in and aut of confined situations without trouble, The two-cylinder " V " engine lends itself to compactness of design, and, aeing placed beneath the feet of the iriver, dispenses with the bonnet and ;ecures a mini LTIll m overall length. The " fool-proof " epicyclic gear is as 3ilent on the low speed and reverse, Is upon the high or direct drive. These ;ears, with long tooth faces, and all ;ears constantly in mesh and running

in oil, should undoubtedly render very long service without undue signs of wear. Another interesting feature of the car will be seen in the patented feat-pedal centrol, with inter-connected levers, which is one of the strongest and simplest things of the kind we have noticed,

In addition to a chassis illustrating these various constructional features, the company shows several complete vehicles, The "Lotis" cab was to form a portion of its exhibit, but at the time of going to press with our report this had not arrived. It was expected at Olympia early in the week. A light brewers' wagon, with canopy top, built for Groves and Sons, Ltd., of Bournemouth, and the chassis of a grocers' delivery van are also there.

Another exhibit which is shown illustrates a type of car for which we consider there is considerable opening; we refer to the light six-seated station omnibus, for country houses or hotels. This class of vehicle is intended by the company to replace the small station omnibus in the country.
