Drive is transmitted to a single-reduction rear axle via a ZF S5-24 five-speed synchromesh gearbox, engaged by a floor-mounted lever. Body lengths of up to 6.6m (21.75ft) are accommodated by a flat-topped bolted and riveted chassis in wheelbases measuring 2.7m, 3.25m, 3.85m, and 4.45m (8.8ft, I0.7ft, 12.6ft, and 14.6ft).
