-1 am now seeking c.-inployment within the coaching industry after an absence of three years.
Imagine my disgust when this week a
well-known Hampshire operator offered me a salary of S:82 for a 50-hour week excluding lunch with overtime at .S."2.37 per hour. Working maximum legal hours this would not leave enough to pay a mortgage. Obviously I turned the offer down.
If employers wish to run a successful operation using experienced professionals to handle their coaches then they must be prepared to pay accordingly — otherwise this industry will continue to have a ''Cinderella" image.
