THE Traders' Road Transport Association has been represented at a conference, convened by the Ministry of Transport. which has considered in detail the provisions of a draft convention for a contract for the international carriage of goods by road for hire or reward, prepared by a working party appointed ,by the Economic Commission for Europe. Amendments to the draft are being considered this week by the working party in Geneva.
Col. A. Jerrett, T.R.T.A. president, and Mr. F. D. Fitz-Gerald, national secretary, were in Geneva, this week, at a council meeting of the International Road Transport Union, of which Col. Jerrett is a vice-president. They were available for consultation on points arising from the E.C.E. working-party's deliberations.
