Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

VI' Book failed to appear last year, following the acquisition of the Modern Transport Publishing Co. Ltd. by Ian Allan Ltd., it looked as if this very useful "annual" might disappear. Fortunately this is not the case, and a new 1965 edition is to be published on March 31.

An invaluable reference book for every executive connected with both the operating and manufacturing sides of the road passenger transport industry, the Passenger Transport Year Book aims at listing every known operator of buses and coaches in the British Isles, together with many p.s.v. operators in the Commonwealth and in Europe. The names of the leading executives of each company are given in most cases, and a brief summary of the vehicles operated, types Of service, ticket systems employed and even the fleet colours.

Also listed are the names and addresses of leading manufacturers connected with the industry, together with the names of societies and trade organizations, and officers thereof. The book is attractively hound. and printed, and, at two guineas, reflects a price increase of only two

shillings over the 1963 edition. IT is obtainable from Modern Transport Publishing Co. Ltd., Terminal House, Shepperton, Middlesex.

My only criticism------why is the Transport Holding Company entry, together with that of the Tilling Association Ltd., and the Scottish Bus Group, published in the section devoted to British Operators' Organizations, and not alongside the section devoted to THC operating undertakings? I wanted to refer to this entry in my review copy. and could not find it, eventually stumbling on it by

accident. F.K.M.
