rONSIDERABLE expansion of its transport fleet by Hobbs (Quarries) Ltd., the west country and South Wales quarry and road construction group, has resulted in the establishment of a new transport depot at Bristol.
Follow:ng this centralization of transport operations the group also announces the appointment of two new executives.
Mt Frank Bishop,. 34, has been
appointed transport manager, with responsibility for the group's entire transport fleet. An associate member of both the Institute of Materials Handling and of the Institute of Traffic Administration, Mr. Bishop was formerly a transport officer with the Metal Box Co.
Appainted assistant transport manager is-Mr. John Crossman, who was formerly with Laporte Chemicals Ltd.
