THE Liverpool offices and depot of
Silver Roadways Ltd. have been centralized on a new site 100 yd. from the company's, workshop in Lightbody Street, Liverpool, 5. The single-storey, 3,885 sq. ft. building for 40 administrative staff includes a rest room and shower facilities for drivers. There is yard space for 30 artics.
Washing and lubrication equipment is to be installed as part of a plan to service vehicles that have previously been maintained in London and Cardiff. A " production line" traffic office layout, designed by the manager, Mr. J. N. Gannieliffe, provides separate checking points for Silver Roadways' and subcontractors' drivers.
