PAA REQUEST that the Ministry of Transport should be asked to consider a relaxation in the stringent conditions regarding drivers' hours to permit the second driver to be carried on a livestock vehicle without the time spent on the vehicle counting towards his
driving time, has been made by the Nvestock group of the Road Haulage Association.
The request has been considered sympathetically by the RHA executive committee and further information from the group has been asked for.
