A NNOUNCING new appointments in
his top management team recently. Mr. M. Prichard, managing director of the Perkins Group, said that a full scale reorganization of Perkins' international operations had been made necessary by the rapid expansion of the company.
Heading the new world-wide sales team with additional responsibilities as director, marketing, of the Perkins Group marketing division is Mr. T. H. R. Perkins, who is also assistant managing director. Mr. J. M. Collins heads the sales division as general manager, charged primarily with specific responsibility for the sale of U.K. manufactured products. Mr. Collins joined Perkins in 1955 from the Ford Motor Co., as general manager of the Australian company. He was appointed export sales manager, Perkins Engines, Ltd., in 1958.
Mr. J. H. Wright, until recently Perkins home sales manager, has been appointed deputy general manager, Perkins sales division, with specific responsibility for customers having, extensive overseas and export requirements.
Mr. B. A. Gomm, who has recently returned from Australia, where he was general manager of F. Perkins (Australia), Pty., Ltd., becomes general regional sales manager and will be largely concerned with Perkins' world-wide network of saleS and service distribution.
