Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Renault Trucks has revised its "on-line" bodybuilding service offered to UK rigid truck buyers through its "Connections" programme. Under the new scheme, operators will now be offered Samro box and curtainsider bodies on 7.5-12-tonne rigid chassis in place of the previous Boalloy units. However, the UK bodybuilder will continue to have a share in the Beaucarrosse joint venture set up with Renault to provide bodies on line.

Under the programme. which adds approximately two weeks to the production time, complete dry freight bodywork can be provided including taillifts. Although only 10% of all light-middleweight rigids sold by Renault in the UK are currently supplied with line-fit bodywork, marketing director Euan Harron says the company is keen to increase that figure and is also looking to extend the service to provide bodywork for 18-tonne Midlum and Premium chassis.

At a press presentation this week Han-on also confirmed that Renault is considering developing a new lightweight 6x4 chassis with the narrow Midlum cab which would be suitable for UK tipper and mixer operations.
