The new Beriingo line-up is now confirmed, and for most buyers the entry-level model will be the 6000 X, with the T1hp 1.9D engine, priced exVAT at 28,995. Another £450 buys you the LX trim level, with a further £650 needed for the 9Dhp 2.0HDi engine. A net payload of 860kg will add £300, giving the range-topping 800TD ilDi LX a sticker of 210,495. More specialized tastes are catered for by the 6001 LX with 75hp 1.41 spark engine, £8,095 on petrol or £9,895 for LPG dual-fuel, and by a pair of 800kg platform cabs, All LX models come with driver's airbag, remote central locking, electric mirrors and passenger door mirror. The functions allowed by use of Multiplex wiring are extended to Include speed-sensitive wipers and radio volume, interior light dimming, automatic door locking and remote radio display. Another nice touch is the activation of the digital odometer display when the doors are opened.
