• A new Ford Transit option "pack", designed specifically for had weather operation and increased vehicle security, is announced today. The "Take Care Pack"
available for all models in the Transit range — comprises rear mud flaps, heavy-duty battery (petrol models only), front fog tamps, electric windscreen washers, steering column lock and lockable fuel filler cap. All these items — with the exception of the electric windscreen washers — arc currently offered either as production options or Ford accessories and will remain available individually. Retail price of the line-fitted pack — which must be specified when ordering the new vehicle — is £28 for petrol models and £23.50 for diesel-engined versions.
