• H. Clarke and Sons Ltd, Lutterworth, has announced its intention of modifying the Trans-Lift demountable body system. The angle of the "gathering plates" on the end of the jacking beam is to be altered, and a slot is to be machined in the bottom of the rear support legs on future production units.
These modifications follow comments published in CM's Demountable Distribution series on December 3.
