Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

One of the claims made for anodized aluminium in a new leaflet from Alcan Industries is that this finish will retain its high reflectivity in heavy industrial atmospheres longer than any other.

The leaflet has 10 pages and is entitled "Bright Trim in Alcan Aluminium" and other advantages put forward in the text include the considerable weight saving that is possible using material that is one-third the weight of steel and the scope offered by aluminium in the form of sheet and extruded sections.

Two pages are devoted to design with illustrated references to the various forming processes and examples of possibilities with extrusions. In addition there is technical information on the three Alcan alloys used. the forms and sizes in which they can be obtained and the applications for which they are suitable.
