HAZFREIGHT COURSES • Batley-based Liquids Powders & Gas Transport has published the dates for its 1987 spring Hazfreight training courses.

The three-day courses (commencing January 12, February 9 and March 2) cost 2138 including VAT, and cover gas, chemical and petroleum products, safety procedures, loading and unloading, legislation, first-aid, firefighting and emer

gencies. The cost of the course includes all meals and refreshments.

The LP & G Transport training courses are approved by the Chemical Industries Association and qualify for a full RTITB grant.

LP & G Transport has also finalised its dates for the rest of 1987 for those operators wishing to plan ahead. One-day refresher courses are also available at the company's Batley site, or by arrangement, anywhere else in the UK. Among LPG's customers are British Gas, Gulf Oil, Petrofina, and Tankfreight.
