• Following Ow recent amalgamation of RTZ Cement's four member companies into Castle Cement, the combined group has now gained a new national livery for its delively vehicles.
The four subsidiaries — Kelton Cement, Tunnel Cement, Ribblesdale Cement and Clyde Cement — together form the second largest supplier of quality assured British cement in the country, and will operate a fleet of some 400 vehicles, Among the first trucks to be painted in the latest red and white colours are six ERF E12 8)44 tankers for Castle Cement (Ribblesdale)„ based at Clitheroe in Lancashire.
The eight wheelers are equipped with Norde rubber suspension, Edbro five-stage hoist and Eminox vertical exhausts. Castle Cement (Ribblesdale) currently operates a fleet of 97 ERFs.
