HOW DOES farmer's sausagemeat hotpot tickle your palate? It consists of sausage meat, apple, bacon, onion, celery and ;tomato covered with cheese and topped with potato, and baked until brown.
The recipe won a prize for a Scottish housewife in a competition promoted by Roadchef. It is one of three being tried out at the company's motorway service areas. At last a motorway caterer is showing imagination.
