INKTIP, the Telford based tipping gear and body specialists, as entered the 7.5 tonne (7.38 ton) gvw market.
Previously the company had oncentrated on vehicles up to .5 tonnes (3.44 tons), but now ,ny make of vehicle up to 7.5 onnes (7.38 tons) can be ccommodated — while the ustomer waits, if necessary.
This speedy turnround of hassis cab vehicles is Lchieved, Linktip says, by fit[lent of the Linktip tipping lack.
Linkage is connected to the hassis through a full length hassis subframe. Body ssembly comes complete and ally fitted to the chassis subrame and Linktip linkage, and tandard features include wing and drop tailboard and dropsides. Bodywork is available in steel or alloy construction.
For 7500kg vehicles a twin hydraulic ram is fitted, geometrically located to provide good stable tipping up to angles in excess of 450. The hydraulic cylinders are powered through an electrohydraulic pack operating from the vehicle's battery.
There is minimal drainage of the battery because of the short stroke of the hydraulic cylinders. Another standard feature is full in-cab control.
The cost varies according to body size.
