BROCKHOUSE Transmissions Ltd will be releasing details of it new C11/09 torque converter transmission at the Internationa Materials Handling Exhibition NEC-Birmingham (June 2-7 1980). The new unit will enable high-speed automotive engine1 to be used in industrial applications.

The new unit, based upon the well-established C11-Series, claimed to give definite cost advantages while retaining all the benefits of a torque converter transmission in the driveline.

The transmission, specifically designed for forklift trucks ur to 3175kg (7000 lb) lift capacity, is also suitable for othez industrial applications.

The C11/09, which comprises a 240mm (9.46in) pressed stee. torque converter coupled to a single-speed forward and reverse power shift transmission, is complemented by both power take off and inching facilities and is available for remote or close coupled axle fittings.
