• Brigade is poised to introduce a reversing camera that doubles as a route-finder system. Meanwhile, its rear-view CCTV system has been upgraded. It comes complete with one of the smallest camera units available, little bigger than a 50p piece with a monitor less than 130mm wide. It is steam-cleaning resistant, and operates below 1 lux minimum illumination (street lighting is approx 5 lux).
Brigade's Backscan 2000 is an ultrasonic rear obstacle detector. It comprises rear-mounted sensors, an electronic control box, in-cab audio-visual displa and single cable connection.
