Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Two Yorkshire-based hauliers have been disqualified from acting as company directors or managers.

Stanley Wright and Steven Wright of Darton. Barnsley traded as haulage contractor SWT (Barnsley). The company was wound up in May last year with estimated debts of 170,102.

Barnsley Crown Court accepted that their unfit behaviour had caused the company to operate a policy of nonpayment of taxes and national insurance contributions, and that they had financed the business with E.68,631 collected on behalf of the Crown.

They were both disqualified for up to three years.
