4ATIONAL TRAVEL coaches will be moving into a rail-dominaed area, of the travel market on Christmas Day and Boxing )ay. They will be providing services in place of the boat trains :sually operated by British Rail.
A "boat train" service to and from Felixstowe for Tor Line :1: Christmas Day will be followed on Boxing Day by special lervices for Sealink to and from Dover and Felixstowe.
In addition, about 120 scheduled services on main inter-city butes will leave Victoria on Sunday. A National Travel spokesnan told CM he was confident that these would adequately cater or passengers diverted from rail.
Predicted busiest route is London to Newcastle, on which extra :oaches will be running.
