Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• ERN' is offering its own factory designed and fitted stainless steel vertical exhaust stack, which is fully type approved for use with all Cummins engines up to 300kW (400hp) and the Gardner 6LXDT-270 power unit.

Mounted on the near side, opposite the polyethelene air intake, it does not interfere with the fitting of twin fuel tanks or the location of the battery carrier.

All exposed parts of the system are manufactured from high grade 18/8 (18% nickel 8% chrome) stainless steel with the oval expansion chamber made from Highform 409, a special grade of stainless steel developed by British Steel specifically for exhaust systems.

The pipe run, from the turbocharger to the silencer, incorporates stainless steel flexible hose.

On all models, the pipe work passes above the chassis although on tractive units fuel supply lines and other chassis componentry is protected by a moulded heat shield.

The factory fitted exhaust weighs around 34kg and is priced at 2498. It can be fitted as an on-line option and is covered by ERF's standard warranty.
