Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A "COMMUTER SPECIAL" express bus

service between Ayr and Glasgow which would reduce the time of the existing bus journey by 20 mins. and make use of the city Underground is proposed by Quin's Coaches of Ayr in an application to the Scottish Traffic Commissioners.

It is proposed to operate the service from Burns Square, Ayr, to West Street Underground, Glasgow, with a maximum scheduled journey time of 70 mins. Mr. Gerald Quin, proprietor of the company, plans to use a 41-seater coach.

Fares will be similar to the existing commuter service charges, he says. His company has no intention of originating traffic from Glasgow to Ayr as tickets would be issued on a round-trip basis from Ayr.
