Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE FREIGHT Transport Association has announced its programme of residential courses for the Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Transport Operations (National Syllabus) for the second half of 1982.

There are eight of the weeklong residential courses between June and the end of the year and in each case the Royal Society of Arts CPC examination is taken one to three weeks after the end of the course.

All the courses are run at the FTA Management Training Centre, Wadhurst, East Sussex. They are designed for FTA members and cost £370 plus vat.

The FTA also offers a selfteaching system for the CPC, called Directed Private Study. This is based on a home study pack with three full-day workshops (held at regional centres), and costs £170 plus vat.
