Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

1AM relieved to hear that the Greater London Council transport committee's choice of red as the colour to identify bus lanes has no political significance. Blue was rejected simply because it would soon become indistinguishable from the rest of the road.

This is just as well, for the Opposition might have sought an injunction to prevent the expenditure of £200,000 on the first 71/2 miles of London's 26 miles of bus lane from being passed off as Conservative folly. Then the luckless ratepayers, al ready smarting under the legal costs of the fares wrangle, might have found themselves subscribing to another lawyers' benefit performance.
