DISTRIBUTION SCHEME AS a result of the recent judgment of the Restrictive Practices Court, it is pointed out by the Institute of the Motor Industry that the section dealing with the distribution scheme agreement in their book "Law and Practice of the Motor Trade " no longer applies as that of an agreement collectively entered into by the manufacturers and concessionnaires that were signatories to it.

The result of the decision is that in future the terms and conditions on which vehicles are supplied must be ascertained from each individual manufacturer's agreements with his distributors and dealers.
