Britain by Don-Bur under last year's loint venture agreement (CM, December 8, 1984) have been supplied to Dawsonrentals (Truck Hire) of Leighton Buzzard.
Both trailers are Don-Bur/ Chereau tandem-axled, 12.2m (40ft) thin-walled refrigerated units and are built to full ATP Class C insulation standards with a K factor of 0.26.
Narrow side walls allow the carriage of two rows of metric pallets side by side, and a full load of 24 pallets.
French refrigerated body builder Chereau produces the panels using polyurethane foam insulation by a vacuum pressed wet lay process. Load lock tracking is fitted in the floor and roof.
Side hinge rear doors with aluminium fittings are hinged within a stainless steel frame.
Don-Bur fits RO-R parabolic suspension although air or other types and makes are available. Dawsonrentals also specified a two position king pin.
Both trailers will be used on long-term rental in the food industry and the company expects to order at least two similar trailers each month from now on.
Under last year's agreement Don-Bur and Ets Jean Chereau will market each others' products in their respective countries.
