HAROLD BAGGOTT, executive chairman of Leisuremaster, the Tricentrol group coaching company which includes Tourmaster of Dunstable, has retired.
He entered the coach industry in April 1948 when he formed Travel House (Luton), still part of the Leisuremaster group. After it acquired Bunty Coaches' Dunstable depot, the company expanded and built up traffic as Luton Airport developed as a holiday departure point, Mr Baggott has been actively involved in the Bus and Coach Council, and recently negotiated terms for BCC members with the Performing Rights Society.
