AThere are now so many industrial films on this subject that the National Joint Council on Materials Handling has recently compiled a catalogue.
It includes a film dealing with the Clark/ Ross straddle carriers now being introduced to marshal freight containers and one— dealing with the handling of bricks in packages —issued by the Ministry of Public Building and Works.
The purpose of these films is to show how to cut costs by mechanization. The catalogue is available from: National Joint Council On Materials Handling, 3 Dean Trench Street. London, SW1. It is priced 10s to members and 12s 6d to non-members.
