1965: The first tyre wear tests are conducted at Ladoux, and the centre initially employs 150 people.
1971: 1,500 tyre research and development team members based at the Carmes plant in Clermont-Ferrand are gradually transferred to Ladoux. 1973: Michelin materials research teams are also transferred to the centre. By this stage, the Ladoux workforce has grown to 1,800.
1974-1997: Over the years, 25 new buildings are added to the site, including analytical laboratories and a tyre-mould manufacturing plant.
2011: More than 3,300 people now work at Ladoux.
