Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ANY MOVES to create a dutyfree industrial zone around Prestwick Airport will be opposed by Scottish hauliers.

Road Haulage Association Scottish secretary Tom Brattin told CM that established operators are as much at risk from low-cost operations which might be based there as they will be from the enterprise zone established at Clydebank.

"We are all for EZs provided they are for manufacturing industry only," he said.

The proposal for Prestwick centres on plans by Federal Express for a trans-Atlantic air parcels sqrvice, and would include duty-free arrangements similar to those which apply at Ireland's Shannon airport.
