Cranes (Dereham), • Ltd.', will also show a hydraulic suspension unit of the type used on its all-hydsaulic 16-wheeled trailers.
The exhibit of Carrimore Six Wheelers, Ltd., on Stand 97, will consist, in the main, of semittrailers. There will be examples of pei-manently coupled types and others with the maker's Quickfit coupling gear incorporating the Carrimore retractor ;turntable. This type of turntable permits a semi-trailer to be close-coupled to the tractor unit, as when the complete vehicle -4 taking a sharp turn 'the semitrailer automatically recedes' from the tractor, The only Carrimore full trailer to be shown wilt be an' 'overseks-type 5-6tonner built ' So . as ' ta •be easily
dismantled for shipping. ' • ' Included in the Dyson exhibit (Stand 58) will be a lightweight tandemaxled semi-trailer for 15-ton loads. The platforrilis built 'up. of duraIumin sections, the floorboards being special extrusions secured to the chassis frame by clamps. The pressings forming the main frame are 15 ins. deep and the cross-members and outriggers are of steel welded to the main frame. Another model is the Dyson 40-ton convertible trailer. This vehicle can be used as a semi-trailer with the usual type of turntable or, by fitting a forecarriage, as a full trailer.
Four Tasker semi-trailers and one full trailer will be seen on Stand85. In the 25-ton low-loading semi-trailer, the complete rear bogie is made detachable to assist in loading.
The Task ers articulated timber carriage has beendesigned for use in tropical forests. It has bolsters 6 ins. deep, with seven pointed studs 'along the top to grip .the load. Stanchions and other parts can be removed when
required, and as they are all secured by chains it is not possible for any component to become lost.
The Eagle concern will have a timber-haulage six-wheeled pole trailer amongst its exhibits on Stand 35. It is rated at 15 tons and the wheelbase and bolster centres can, be extended from 12 ft. to 24 ft. in three stages. To ensure correct load distribution -over uneven ground, the rear axles are interconmected by balance beams.'
Also to be shown on this stand. will be a ,25-ton low-loading drop-framed semi-trailer having detachable rear axles. The lower deck measures 20 ft. by 8 ft., and the top. deck 9 ft. by At ft. The height of the lower deck in the travelling position is under 2 ft.
An interesting model to be shown by the British Trailer Co., Ltd., on Stand 100. will by the Airflow II semitrailer 50-seat coach. It has a floor built up of duralumin chequer plate and the body is prefabricated in 12 main sections which pack flat for shipment. Special consideration has been given to re-erection by the purchaser's staff.
On Stand 27, Lawton-Goodman, Ltd., will have trailer chassis with various types of mobile shop and office body mounted on them. In one exarnprc, which takes the form of a generalservice refreshment bar, the doublepanelled aluminium body is equipped with water tanks, sink, cooker, urns, and show cases.

Included in its special features are new wide-base wheel rims, progressive road springs, a new form of vertical screw-type support gear, and a pressed channel-steel frame 15 ins. deep.
The mounting of the semi-elliptic road springs provides for a sliding action at the front end where the flat ends of the springs rest in hanger brackets. The axle is located by means of radius rods having an adjustable link.
In a 12-ton semi-trailer chassis designed to take a pantechnicon body, which is also to be shown, the main frame at the rear is exceptionally deep and provision is made for the rear axle to pass through it. By this means it is possible greatly to reduce the loading height of the body.
The Multiwheeler exhibit on Stand 43 will comprise three vehicles—a 5-ton standard model four-wheeled trailer with platform body, a I2-ton lowloading semi-trailer for such loads as contractors' plant and a 1-ton twowheeled trailer designed for carrying oil-filtering plant.
