Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A squirt-on rust killer and a wrap-round exhaust bandage have been announced by Granville.

The affected area must be cleaned and then the rust treatment can be squirted or brushed on. After say, 5min, the area is rinsed off with clean water and dried. The surface can then be painted.

The bandage is applied to a warm exhaust system. The damaged area is cleaned and the bandage tightly wrapped around the damaged area. As soon as the vehicle is used and the exhaust system reaches operating temperature the bandage becomes one solid unit — there is no need to secure it with wire. Made by: Granville Ltd, Keighley, Yorks.
