World Wide Coaches Ltd, is expected to be made "very soon". This was said on Tuesday by a spokesman for American Express Ltd, joint owners with Wakefield Fortune Ltd, of World Wide.
The appointment follows the sudden departure about two months ago of Mr F. R. Alden, previous managing director. Mr Alden was a well-known figure in the coach industry and under his control World Wide's fleet of close on 100 luxury coaches became one of the best known and most progressive in the country.
Since Mr Alden's departure Mr G. F. Keeley, an American Express executive, has been acting as managing director.
