• An experimental guaranteed-s coach service got off to an encourag start in London this week. It ser Stanwell, Ashford and the Hatton Cr. maintenance area at Heathrow airport.
An overall weekly charge of or £1 guarantees a seat morning and even First reports are that bookings for first week of operation are encourai in the Stanwell area but beginning slo in Ashford. It is expected that traffic build up as the service becomes be known.
The service, being operated for Lon, Transport by Whytes Coaches of Edgw. is being underwritten by the Departrr of the Environment.
