Leyland report
• British Leyland's tax-paid profits the year ended September 30 1972 rose £21.1m (1971: £18.4m). But unit sales trucks, buses and vans fell from 193,000 180,000 while cars went up by 83,000.
"A good level of profits was achieved the last quarter of the financial year and unaudited figures for the first three mon of the current year are encouraging," the directors.
The agm will be held in London March 7.
