HE Bri-Mec multi-purpose lorry body L is to be exhibited by its makers, Bristol etal Contracts Ltd., at the forthcoming ommercial Motor Show at Earls Court r the first time.
Capable of being fitted to a majority ' commercial chassis, the Bri-Mec design lows the body to be moved rearwards hen it is hinged about the rear end of the lassis, so forming a loading ramp. With ms of mechanical equipment, for instance, e Drott shovel-loader is driven into posian on the lowered body. This is then (draulically retrieved to the roa.d-going )sition in which it can also be used as a mventional platform lorry.
