DETAILS of some buses and coaches to be seen at Earls Court this year can now be given. As usual the Duple Group will exhibit a full range of coachwork, including an example of the new Viceroy coach body, to be shown in 45-seat form on a Ford R192 and as a 52-seater on a Bedford VAL. An example of the improved Vista 25, 29-seat coach on Bedford VAS I chassis will also be shown.

Blackpool-built Duple bodies will comprise a 51-seat Commander on AEC Reliance chassis and a 45-seat Viscount on Bedford VAM14. Duple (Midland) products on view will include a 45-seat service coach on Bedford VAM5 and 45-seat stage bus on Ford R192, although the most interesting exhibit will be a 42-seat body on a single-deck version of the Daimler Fleetline chassis for Grimsby-Cleethorpes.

A 53-seat body on Leyland Panther chassis for Maidstone and District will be one of the Willowbrook Ltd., exhibits, the other being a 64-seat, forward-entrance double-decker on AEC Regent V chassis for South Wales Transport Co. Ltd.

A 53-seat bus on Leyland Leopard chassis for the Northern General Transport Co. Ltd. and a 38-seat, heavy-duty service bus on Albion Viking VIC41L chassis will be displayed by Marshall of Cambridge (Engineering) Ltd. An interesting exhibit by MCW Ltd. will be a 54-seat double-decker on Leyland Atlantean II chassis for BOAC. This vehicle will feature a large luggage compartment at the rear of the lower saloon, and the front of the vehicle will employ wrap-round windscreen and front upper-deck windows.
