• Six regions are to replace the present nine regions of the National Bus Company in connection with a new management structure to be introduced 4;)n January 1. Regional chairmen will be relieved of their present hq duties and will have offices, and also live, in their region.

At headquarters six executive directors are to be given functional duties for which they will be responsible to Mr T. W. H. Gailey, chief executive. They are Mr D. W. Glassborow (planning). Mr G. McKay (technical), Mr G. D. Neely (finance), Mr F. K. Pointon (commercial). Mr R. St. C. Sandal! (administration) and Mr S. J. B. Skyrme (manpower).

The new regional organization will be:

North Eastern (formerly North Eastern and Yorkshire), regional chairman Mr G. M. Newberry; North Western (as now), Mr G. Brook; South Wales and West (as now), Mr J. T. E. Robinson; Midlands (West Midlands), Mr I. R. Patey; Eastern (East Midlands and Eastern), Mr J. Niblock; and Southern (Southern and South Eastern), Mr D. S. Deacon.

Both the functional executive directors and the regional chairmen will be directors of the NBC Federation.

London Country Bus Services Ltd will remain a separate entity and its managing director. Mr C. R. Buckley will continue as a director of the Federation.
