• The BET Road Passenger Transport Award will be available again for presentation in 1971. Offered annually by the British Electric Traction Co Ltd, the award is a prize of 100 guineas for a paper by a member or non-member of the Institute of Transport which makes a contribulion of merit to the study of the science and art of road passenger transport operation or administration.

The entry may be (a) a paper which has been presented at an IoT meeting or a thesis accepted in lieu of the examinations. or (b) a paper which has been presented at a meeting of another organization or written especially for the Award.
